Memphis: Hear the Beat

Home to the birthplace of blues and rock and roll, put your dancing shoes on when visiting the city of Memphis. This is the city where music legends like Elvis Presley, Otis Redding, B.B. King, and Johnny Cash all made their mark. Today, the city echoes with these artists’ music. At every turn, Memphis is a musical medley. To complete the music medley of Memphis, be sure to visit Graceland, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Sun Studio, and the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum. Take a tour of Sun Studio and even sit in on a jam session. View artifacts and memorabilia from the top music stars at the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum.

If you don’t have time for all five, a tour of Graceland is a must-do. Walk through the home of Elvis for a one-of-a-kind adventure through this celebrity’s small beginnings to superstardom. There are photos, stage costumes, movie memorabilia, personal mementos, and much more. No trip to Memphis is complete without a stop at Graceland.
