I always used to travel by myself or with a couple of friends, I thought it was the only way to see the world and have a good time. When you’re with a couple of good mates backpacking in some crazy locations you’re guaranteed to have a good time. It was on my last trip one of mates suggest joining him on one of the awesome Mudita Adventures – they run group charity trips to some of the best destinations on the planet.
I am so glad I listened to his advice and signed up because their charity trip was second to none. The other reason why I’m happy I went is because it taught me just how good group travel can be.
Meet New People
On the Mudita trip there were 15 other people, all of who were complete strangers at the beginning. By the end of the trip everyone was my friend and I definitely made some friends for life. You get to meet lots of new people from around the globe, different ages, backgrounds and jobs. There’s always someone to chat to and it is great getting to know people when you have to spend time traveling on a bus or train.
Share Experiences
It is true that happiness is only true when shared. Sure you will be happy when you reach an awesome destination or see a new stunning sight, but that experience is always improved when you get to share it with others. It also makes it fun to share that experience if it is super weird or out of this world! Then that night at dinner or at the bar everyone gets together and can chat about the day they had.
Perfect For New Travellers
If you’re new to travelling it can sometimes be daunting when you think about booking a trip to an exotic location. There’s no such fear or hesitation when you’re with a group because you are all in the same boat. First time travellers will feel much more comfortable travelling in a big group and it gives them the chance to learn from more experienced people.
Have you been on group travel adventures before? I would love to hear all about your experiences and why you would recommend it to others. Just pop your thoughts in the comment section below – thanks for sharing guys!
