Traveling around the world has never been as easy as it is today, but it wasn’t always so straight forward. Nowadays we can hop on our phone or laptop and book a flight to pretty much any place we can think of, with lots of travel companies you can even book a round the world trip. Those trips usually take several months because you stop off taking in the sites and soaking up the local culture.
In years gone by people had to go to some extreme lengths to travel around the globe. We have all heard of Philes Fogg’s 80 day round the world trip, it’s a voyage that it’s etched in history. But did you know there were so many other people who went around the world in record time? There’s a whole host of adventurers who traveled the world using various types of transport.
