Of course you don’t need to pay to watch the show but if you feel like it and think that the artist is deserving of some money then it is up to you if you want to pay. The two best areas to watch the performers is at the Covent Garden Market and along the South Bank. If you go to these places at the weekend you will see some big crowds marvelling at some of the weird and wonderful performers showing off their skills.
Head to Trafalgar Square
Trafalgar Square is probably one of the most famous places in the capital. One of the main reasons why people visit is to see Nelson’s Column, it is one of the most iconic sites in London. It is also a great place to visit during christmas because you will be able to see the massive christmas tree that is on display.
Wander through the street markets
First things first, if you don’t want to be wandering around like a then print off a map so you know exactly where you heading to find the markets. London has some of the best markets for you to walk through, you don’t have to spend anything you can just marvel in all of the weird and wonderful things that are on sale. Check out Westminster Abbey
You can go inside the abbey for free, if you are around at christmas time then you will be able to listen to some great singers. The Westminster Abbey Choir School always performs during the festive season, listening to the fabulously talented singers is enough to warm anyone up.
