Explore your own city as a tourist
It sounds like a strange thing to do, but your next holiday could actually be at home! Exploring your own city is probably something that you have never truly done because you have lived there for so long and always thought that you would, but never got the chance to. You may even learn a lot about your own city that you didn’t know before and do some interesting things that you may have never tried otherwise.

Getting out onto the open road is a beautiful way to enjoy any destination. You can explore as much or as little as you want, and it is this freedom that makes road trips extremely enjoyable. Imagine seeing animals on the side of the road or an interesting lookout. You can easily stop and take a look and even relax for a few hours, the possibilities are endless. This is so much better than other forms of transports where you are restricted, for example in a bus, plane or train.

Showing up to an airport and simply picking a flight could be one of the most amazing holiday ideas because you only find out at the last minute where you are going. Therefore you have to be very careful about your packing and be ready for more or less anything. You could also do this by booking a mystery flight and this makes it even more exciting as everything is completely out of your hands. Therefore you have no expectations about what could, should or will happen. You simply have to make the most of where you end up, which could be extremely exciting.
