Animal Kingdom

A visit to Disney World would not be complete without seeing Animal Kingdom, which is actually the second largest theme park in the world! The park is designed to promote animal conservation and was one of the key ideals of Walt Disney. The “Kingdom” is divided into various sections or themes with different animals from different regions of the world, such as Africa. Animal Kingdom has a very diverse range of animals to see and the park is also well known for its artificial tree that is over 40 metres tall, which is also the logo for the park.

The entire ride is pitch black and there is only the distant glimmer of tiny stars, the ride takes many twists and turns that are very difficult to anticipate, but add to the experience. This ride is sure to satisfy any ride enthusiast.

Splash Mountain

This is another fan favourite that is a log flume ride that combines music from the classic Disney film “Song of the South”. The ride combines calm and relaxing parts, like floating through the bayou, with more thrilling segments, such as dips and drops where you are very likely to get a little wet. If you really want to experience this ride then it is best to sit at the front to get the full experience (and that means a lot more of the water too!)
