It’s only one of the most recognizable pieces of architecture in the world and every night it has a light show for five minutes on the hour every hour until 1 a.m. and during the summer it goes until 2 a.m. This is a good thing to plan part of your night around.
Go to the ‘Showcase’
The Showcase is a live music venue that has free admission before midnight. This venue is located in a beautiful spot of the city underneath the Alexandre III Bridge. You can get any kind of music depending on the night. The Showcase can have any kind of music from rock bands to jazz acts to world famous DJs. No matter what you get it’s sure to be a fun night.
Visit Some Museums
If you can plan to be in Paris on the first Sunday of the month you can get into all of the major museums for free. You can actually get to see three of the top attractions in the city for free as entry to the Louvre, the Musee d’Orsay, and the Pompidou Centre all participate in the free Sunday. Hang Out in Place des Vosges
This is actually the city’s oldest planned square. It’s a great place to walk around and spend an afternoon watching the Parisian life go by. You can grab a coffee and sit on a bench or lay in the grass by the fountain. There are street performers regularly and the architecture of the old buildings is something to be marveled.
