When I was in Paris two summers ago, I spent several hours exploring the behemoth Louvre museum. At one point I wandered off to a deserted corner and peered over a gate to find this large, desolate room hidden away from the rest. It was filled with sculptures and artifacts, many draped in plastic. It was incredibly creepy and beautiful. I took this photo before I scurried back to the main part of the museum.
