Skiing holidays are some of the best holidays I have ever been on. I was lucky enough to go skiing every year from 5 years old to 18, those trips to french ski areas are the fondest memories of my childhood. I still go skiing these days but not as often because as you see from this blog I travel to lots of different places around the world. What I do know is that it is much more fun when you’re an adult to go on a ski holiday french alps.
If you haven’t been skiing before, here are 3 great reasons to go this year.
It’s a great workout
Sometimes when we go on holiday we are not as active as we should be, laying by the pool everyday is awesome but you’ll only end up piling on the pounds. When you’re out skiing all day you have a great time but you always get a full body workout. You don’t feel it when you’re on the slopes but at the end of the day you feel like you’ve worked hard and deserve a fun night.
The après ski
The fun doesn’t end when the skiing stops because the resort comes to life at night. Everyone on a skiing holiday is always in a good mood and looking forward to enjoying every night to the fullest. There are always plenty of great restaurants serving food from all over the world. Once you’ve refuelled you’ll be able to party the night away, there will be loads of bars with live music full of fellow holiday makers dancing all night.
Clear your mind
In this day and age people seemed to be more stressed than before, so the idea of a holiday is to relax and forget about the worries of work. When you’re gliding along on the slopes the office feels a million miles away. The fresh air, the snow, the sun, the great food, all combine to leave you feeling refreshed and renewed when you head home.
