Photo of the Week: The Umbrian Countryside

Tuscan Countryside

This summer, I traversed across Italy from Rome to Perugia to Florence. I took this photo from the edge of Perugia, a charming college town, overlooking the Umbrian countryside. The rolling, green hills are speckled with old, adobe-colored homes and buildings. It was tranquil, breezy, and one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

Have you ever been to the Umbria region of Italy?

Beautiful photo. I’ve never visited Umbria. I should one day…

This photo makes me miss Italy and it’s beautiful countryside. I stayed in Todi for three weeks last summer for study abroad and we worked with some students in Perugia for three days!
