Yes, you have to go there, Stephanie — it is unbelievably beautiful!

My mom is a high school English teacher and writer…..she was there studying the Romantic poets. Wordsworth, Coleridge, and some other famous poets lived in the Lake District, so we wandered around there. We also spent a good amount of time exploring places significant to Sir Walter Scott (Edinburgh, Scottish borders, etc.)
